We had our ultrasound on Friday. It went well. No, we did not find out the sex of the baby. (I will put up scans of the ultrasound once I do finally get my vista problem fixed...I am still waiting to call Dell. Three hours with them on the phone isn't something that I am looking forward to!)
The baby is continuing to do what it is supposed to do...grow! And the best news is that I am not growing as much as I did when I was pregnant with Jack. Jeremy and I looked it up last night. I am currently 20 lbs lighter at this point in my pregnancy with No. 2 than I was at this point with Jack.
TWENTY POUNDS!!
We tried to figure out what is so different. Jeremy mentioned that in my journal I wrote that I drank a lot of grape juice. I also had an addiction to "Marshmallow Mateys," which is the generic Lucky Charms cereal but is so much better in my opinion because it has more marshmallows! But that doesn't explain 20 lbs, does it?
My conclusion: I have no idea why I am not as big with this baby...but I do know this:
1. This explains why my maternity pants keep falling down.
2. It could have something to do with chasing around a 1 and 3/4 year old.
3. I am still having a Cesarean. If I don't have to push...why would I want to?

Isn't it amazing how different two different pregnancies can be? I am convinced that the baby has a lot to do with it! And chasing around Jack keeps you busier than you realize! Thankful that all is well!
